Scunthorpe skipper Paul Reid is to start full training for the first time this season after suffering injury in pre-season.
The 30-year-old defender is yet to make an appearance for the Iron this term. Reid had metal plates removed from the hand a fortnight ago and has since partaken in strengthening exercises. But he has now been given the green light to rejoin his team-mates on Thursday and could soon come into contention. Manager Alan Knill will be delighted at the return of his captain coinciding with his side's recent unbeaten run.Reid to resume full training
