Pitman and Kilkenny face short spell on the sidelines
Bristol City pair Brett Pitman and Neil Kilkenny will be sidelined for a week after sustaining injuries.
The Robins feared for striker Pitman after he suffered from shin problems following his return from playing on hard ground on tour in Portugal.
But a scan has revealed it only looks like a week out, while Kilkenny should also be back in a similar timescale after he accidently stood on a team-mate's foot and rolled his ankle during a routine training session in England.
Robins boss Keith Millen told the club's official website: "Both players are going to be out for five to seven days.
Problematic
"We feared for Brett because shin injuries can be problematic but he's had a scan and it only looks like a week out.
"Neil's injury was really unfortunate and he's just tweaked some ankle ligaments, he should also be back in a week."
In further injury news, it is hoped Christian Ribeiro should also be back within a week after having a scan on his knee.
James Wilson could return to the squad at Bath City on Wednesday night after a hamstring strain, while Bobby Reid's back and hip problem will again be assessed.
