Oldham 1-1 Stevenage: Paul Scholes' Latics held at Boundary Park

Highlights from the Sky Bet League Two match between Oldham Athletic and Stevenage.

Oldham's habit of leaking late goals came back to haunt them again as Stevenage earned a point in a dramatic 1-1 draw at Boundary Park.

Paul Scholes' Latics side conceded in the 90th minute for the fourth consecutive game, with Kurtis Guthrie scoring for the visitors.

Oldham made the brighter start as Zak Dearnley shot over the top from 18 yards and Gevaro Nepomuceno tested Stevenage goalkeeper Paul Farman.

But Boro grew in confidence and Ilias Chair's free-kick was well saved by Daniel Iversen before Guthrie sent a free header off-target.

They went even closer just before the break as Alex Revell's blistering effort from the edge of the box was tipped onto the crossbar by Iversen.

It was Oldham, however, who broke through in the 47th minute as Jose Baxter seized on a pass from Nepomuceno and fired unerringly into the bottom corner from 25 yards.

Nepomuceno almost doubled the lead when he drew an excellent save from Farman but Guthrie struck in the last minute, heading home Chair's corner.
