Barnet 1-1 Lincoln: Graham Westley starts life with Bees draw

Highlights of the Sky Bet League Two match between Barnet and Lincoln.

Graham Westley's first game in charge of Barnet ended in a draw against promotion-chasers Lincoln.

His tenure got off to the perfect start as John Akinde cut inside and scored in the 12th minute with a deft finish into the bottom corner.

James Wilson, a half-time substitute, equalised for the Imps in the 47th minute with his first touch of the game as he headed in from a corner.

After going ahead, the home side came close to opening up a two-goal lead in the first half as Ryan Watson skimmed the crossbar with an effort from long range.

They continued on the front foot, with Richard Brindley and Alex Nicholls forcing Paul Farman into some good saves.

However, they were pegged back at the start of the second half, with Wilson's header levelling the scores.

Matt Green and Harry Anderson combined well, with the latter having a curling effort palmed away by Craig Ross.
