Crawley twice came from behind in a 3-2 win over AFC Wimbledon at Broadfield to book their place in the first round of the Carling Cup.

Luke Moore opened the scoring for the visitors after 26 minutes but Hope Akdan levelled seven minutes before half-time. Jack Midson restored the Dons' lead a minute into the second half but Sergio Torres levelled following a long-throw from David Hunt. Crawley then took the lead for the first time when Matt Tubbs grabbed the winner in the 64th minute, and Steve Evans' side held on, despite Akdan's late red card. Crawley meet Crystal Palace next in a tie to be played in the week commencing August 8.
