AFC Wimbledon v Wycombe preview

Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between AFC Wimbledon and Wycombe Wanderers at Kingsmeadow.

Peter Sweeney and Chris Hussey can be added to the AFC Wimbledon squad. Midfielder Sweeney moved from Bury to become boss Neal Ardley's first signing of the January transfer window. Ardley then landed former Dons full-back Hussey after he was released by Coventry. Ardley has been further boosted by the news that Bournemouth full-back Jonathan Meades and Bristol City winger Toby Ajala have extended their loan spells. But defender Warren Cummings is a doubt after he suffered a hamstring injury during the 1-0 win at Rochdale last weekend. Striker Byron Harrison is back in training after a back injury while midfielder Sammy Moore is close to returning from a broken leg and has been pencilled in for a reserve match next week. Wycombe will be without right-back Danny Foster for the trip after he was ruled out for at least six weeks with a knee injury. The 28-year-old defender will undergo an operation on Monday following further assessment on the problem picked up in the victory at Rotherham in November once the inflammation had subsided. But player-manager Gareth Ainsworth has been boosted by the news that Marvin McCoy has recovered from illness in time to feature. Ainsworth also hopes to include Matt McClure in his squad, with the striker likely to recover from a slight groin injury. Wycombe have lost just twice since mid-November, a run which has taken them to 18th in the league, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
