Hartlepool have signed 18-year-old striker Devante Rodney from Sheffield Wednesday.
Announcing the deal on Friday, the Sky Bet League Two outfit revealed it was a permanent move but did not disclose the length of Rodney's contract.
Rodney spent six years at Manchester City from the age of nine before moving on to Wednesday, where he was part of their development squad.
