Wycombe v Accrington preview

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has been handed a triple boost as he prepares to send his side into battle with League Two champions-elect Accrington.

Ainsworth expects Adebayo Akinfenwa, Luke O'Nien and Dominic Gape all to be available after being struck down by illness in recent days. O'Nien lasted just 32 minutes at Yeovil last weekend and missed the midweek clash with Lincoln altogether, while Gape sat out the clash with the Imps and Akinfenwa did not make it to the break after starting.

However, Sido Jombati (groin), Curtis Thompson (knee), Anthony Stewart (calf) and Dan Scarr (ankle) remain unavailable.

Accrington manager John Coleman could name the same team for the fourth successive game as he looks to add the title to promotion. Stanley secured their place in League One on Tuesday evening with a 2-0 home win over Yeovil starting with the same 11 men who had done so in the previous fixtures against Exeter and Colchester.

Striker Billy Kee's double against the Glovers took his tally for the campaign to 25 goals and with four games still to play, 30 could yet be within his reach. Coleman's side will run out four points ahead of second-placed Luton and a further five better off than their hosts in third with both having played a game more.

Prutton's prediction

What a story Accrington are, what a job John Coleman has done. They've done fantastically to achieve their first-ever promotion to the third tier, and they'll want to go on and bring home the silverware now.

Wycombe will be hoping that the party lasts until Saturday no doubt! They're third in the table heading into the weekend but that can all change very quickly, especially if they're beaten. And I reckon they will be.

David Prutton predicts: 2-3 (33/1 with Sky Bet)
