Latics without deadline duo while Magpies expect Ravenhill boost

Victor Moses will have to watch on from the sidelines as Wigan Athletic host Notts County in their FA Cup fourth round replay. Moses sealed a £2.5million switch to the DW Stadium on transfer deadline day after Crystal Palace were helpless but to offload their prized asset to aid their financial plight. A number of clubs were tracking the highly-rated starlet but it was the Latics who won the race for the striker's signature, who inked a three-and-a-half year deal with the Premier League outfit. Moses, who has put an England call-up top of his priorities, will have to wait until the weekend clash at Sunderland to show Fabio Capello his Three Lions credentials as the 19-year-old is cup-tied for the replay against the Magpies.

Ineligible

Wigan, who travel to Fulham in the next round if they win, are also without another new striker in the form of Marcelo Moreno who is ineligible to play after joining the Latics on loan for the rest of the season from Uefa Cup holders Shakhtar Donetsk. Maynor Figueroa, who ended speculation about his future by signing a new deal last week, is rated as 50-50 for Tuesday's tie after an impact injury on his foot while Steven Gohouri faces a late fitness test on a hamstring complaint. Mario Melchiot (neck) is also a doubt for fourth round replay and Chris Kirkland is still out with a problem to his collarbone. County, who came close to a giant killing before relinquishing a two -lead against Wigan, should have Ricky Ravenhill available for the DW Stadium fixture. The 29-year-old midfielder took a blow to the cranium during Saturday's 2-0 win over Barnet and was taken off after 30 minutes, but is likely to play. Defender Graeme Lee and striker Luke Rodgers returned to the squad at the weekend after injury and are both expected to be included once again for the League Two promotion chasers.
