Dons could lose out on free agent
Aberdeen boss Craig Brown fears he may miss out on a move for former Rangers midfielder Gavin Rae.
Rae is looking for a new club after being released by Cardiff at the end of last season.
Aberdeen have expressed an interest in signing the 33-year-old, but Brown believes the Scotland international will have a number of options to consider.
"We can certainly offer him regular football, but we must be realistic," Brown told the Daily Record.
"He can't throw away the chance of a really good deal at this stage of his career."
