Atalanta have signed Bologna defender Nicolo Cherubin on a two-year loan, the club have announced.
The 27-year-old joined the Rossoblu in 2010 from Cittadella and helped them stave of relegation for four seasons before they eventually slipped into Serie B at the end of last term.
"The Company announces that it has acquired defender Nicolo Cherubin from FC Bologna in a two-year loan with an option to make the deal permanent," read a statement on www.atalanta.it.
