JAMIE REDKNAPP'S VIEW
"Hull City have done well - I have been impressed. They had a bad run towards the end but I expected that when they made the FA Cup final. Steve Bruce bought two good forwards - Nikica Jelavic and Shane Long - in January."Once they got those two in they were never going to go down, because of the energy they have got. An FA Cup win would be a dream for them but it has been a successful season. I expected them to go down but they have had some good performances, Bruce has done well – as has his son at the back."
HULL'S ATTACK
STAR MAN: TOM HUDDLESTONE
Jamie says: "The former Spurs midfielder has been their key man in the middle of the park"
The capture of Huddlestone was a major coup for Hull when he signed from Tottenham Hotspur during the summer. The 27-year-old's distribution is widely regarded as his major strength and he averaged 52.2 passes per game and 1.6 key passes - both more than any other Hull player. Huddlestone also put in the most tackles (2.6) per game, while chipping in with three goals and two assists during an impressive campaign.
