Harry Kane is the Premier League's most prolific penalty-kick scorer over the past three years, after hammering in from 12 yards in Tottenham's win at Brighton.

The Spurs skipper became a spot-kick star at the World Cup this summer as his three penalties - and successful shoot-out effort against Colombia - helped England to the semi-finals in Russia and he produced another emphatic finish at the Amex Stadium on Saturday night.

Kane has now scored 13 top-flight penalties since August 2015. That's more than any other player in the Premier League, while he has failed to find the net with just two of his 15 efforts in that time.

The next best penalty takers over the same period are Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, who has 12 goals from 14 attempts, and Watford's Troy Deeney, who has scored 12 of his 15.

All of the leading penalty takers have seen efforts saved or fly off target, with six-goal pair Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bournemouth's Jermain Defoe the highest scorers without a failure to their name since August 2015.
