Kim Yong-Jun

Kim has been a regular member of the North Korea squad during qualifying but still appears to have some work to do to establish himself in the first XI. The midfielder made 11 appearances for Kim Jong-Hun's side during their successful qualifying campaign, but completed a full 90 minutes only once. He made eight starts and three substitute appearances, but was regularly substituted and was also one of only two players to be dismissed. The 26-year-old stepped off the bench in the 89th minute of the 0-0 draw away to Saudi Arabia which helped secure qualification, but was given his marching orders in the fourth minute of added time. Kim has spent time in China and as on the books of Chengdu Blades, the sister outfit of Championship side Sheffield United, before returning to Pyongyang City in his homeland.
