Stelios has been included in the Greece squad for Euro 2008 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey.

Bolton midfielder back in squad after hernia surgery

Stelios Giannakopoulos has been included in the Greece squad for Euro 2008 qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Turkey. The Bolton midfielder has returned to full fitness following a hernia operation over the summer and has made three appearances for his club recently. Nurnberg striker Angelos Charisteas has also recovered from injury to take his place in Otto Rehhagel's 23-man squad. Panathinaikos' Dimitris Salpingidis is selected ahead of his team-mate Dimitris Papadopoulos for the European champions' upcoming qualifiers. Greece, who currently top Group C with 19 points, host Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday before travelling to Turkey four days later.
