Playmaker keen on Premier League swansong
Veteran playmaker Jay-Jay Okocha is keen to secure a new contract with Premier League newcomers Hull City.
The former Bolton and Nigeria star was considering hanging up his boots at the end of the season, but the lure of a top-flight swansong is giving him second thoughts.
Okocha made 18 league appearances for the Tigers last term, with eight of those outings coming from the bench, but failed to score a single goal.
Phil Brown's side secured top-flight football for the first time in Hull's history with a 1-0 victory over Bristol City in the play-off final at Wembley last Saturday.
Stay
And Okocha has told Brown that he would be more than happy to extend his stint at the KC Stadium.
He told the Daily Express: "I would love to still be part of this as there's a lot still to do.
"If they want me, I'd gladly stay."
