Nice defender signs new contract but dreams of Premier League

Nice defender Onyekachi Apam has extended his contract until 2013 but admits he 'dreams' of playing in the Premier League. The Nigeria international has been rumoured to be a target of Marseille and Lyon, but has put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Stade Symphorien. Apam is now tied to Nice for the next five years, however the 21-year-old confesses that his long-term aim is to secure a move to England. "I am happy to prolong my stay at Nice," Apam told skysports.com. "The club is in a good condition. "I have been linked with two of the biggest clubs in France - Marseille and Lyon - but I am 21 and still learning my profession. "My dream is to stay in France and then one day move to the Premier League. I have always dreamt of playing in the Premier League. "You never know, but at the moment Nice is the place for me."
