Yeovil unable to make late numerical advantage count

Stockport earned an FA Cup replay with fellow League One opponents Yeovil despite being reduced to 10 men in an entertaining 1-1 draw at Huish Park. County led through Craig Davies before being pegged back by Terry Skiverton while Stephen Gleeson was later dismissed. Stockport could have taken the lead in the 14th minute but Michael Raynes failed to connect with Tommy Rowe's cross. However, they did break the deadlock two minutes before half-time when Rowe's free-kick was knocked on by John Mullins and Davies hooked the ball in from close range. Yeovil skipper Skiverton attempted to spearhead several attacks in the second half to get his side back on level terms, and he wasted a chance when he fired wide from a promising position. But he made amends on the hour-mark and levelled matters with a header from Paul Warne's left-wing cross. County's task was made somewhat difficult in the latter stages as they were reduced to 10 men on 72 minutes when Gleeson was sent off for an alleged elbowing offence.
