Midfielder handed six-month contract
Leicester City have bolstered their midfield options with the addition of Aman Verma on a six-month deal
The 21-year-old has been on trial with Nigel Pearson's troops and clearly did enough to earn a longer stay under the ex-Southampton manager.
Verma has been handed a short-term contract after featuring in reserve team games against Kidderminster Harriers and Nottingham Forest.
Benefited
"Aman has been on trial with us for a number of weeks and he has benefited from training on a full-time basis," Pearson told the club's official website.
"We have given him an opportunity and we will now continue to monitor his progress within the first-team environment."
Verma, who has been handed the club's 34 shirt, is eligible for Saturday's League One clash against Carlisle United.
