Hamilton Academical have completed the signing of Izzy Iriekpen at the second attempt.
The 27-year-old appeared to be on his way to the SPL outfit in January, only to change his mind at the last minute.
The defender opted to join Bristol City instead, much to the dismay of Accies boss Bill Reid.
However, having been released by the Robins this summer after making just nine appearances, he is now heading to Scotland.
Iriekpen has penned a two-year contract with Hamilton and made his first appearance for his new employers during a 1-1 friendly draw with Drogheda United on Sunday.
His arrival will now allow Reid to turn his attention to other potential new recruits, with a number of trialists on show for the Accies at the weekend.
