Midfielder happy to be working with Adams again

Port Vale have signed former Bradford City and Blackpool midfielder Claus Jorgensen on a non-contract basis. Jorgensen was released by Blackpool at the end of last season and has spent the past week training with Micky Adams' Vale squad. He has now secured a deal with the League Two side and will be in the squad to face his old club Bradford on Saturday. The 33-year-old played under Adams at Coventry and is happy to have been given another opportunity by the Vale manager. "I am over the moon to have been given the chance," Jorgensen told the club's official website. "I am really delighted and looking forward to hopefully doing well for Port Vale. "I have stayed in touch with Micky Adams since he showed me the door at Coventry. "You know what you get from him, honesty, and if you work hard for him he will look after you, and that is what I intend to do here."
