York held by Wimbledon

Andy Frampton's equaliser saw AFC Wimbledon force an FA Cup first round replay at League Two rivals York.

The centre back's scrambled effort cancelled out Jake Hyde's opening goal for the Minstermen, who have now gone 11 matches without a home win. York forged ahead on eight minutes when Hyde pounced from close range to divert a low Michael Coulson cross from the right past Dons keeper James Shea following an Adam Barrett slip. But the visitors levelled on 21 minutes when centre-back Frampton netted from six yards after Michael Ingham had saved his initial effort following George Francomb's corner. Coulson later called Shea into action with a well-struck free kick as the sides entered the interval on terms. Both sides had excellent second-half chances to forge ahead with Adebayo Akinfenwa side-footing wide from eight yards from Francomb's cross. Hyde also headed off target before Shea pulled off an amazing triple save to deny Wes Fletcher and Coulson on 84 minutes to ensure the two teams will reconvene at Kingsmeadow.
