All square at Keepmoat Stadium

Doncaster and Fleetwood fired blanks in a scrappy goalless draw at the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday.

Clear-cut chances were few and far between and passes went astray with alarming regularity as the blustery wind caused problems for both sides. Fleetwood provided the first real threat in the 17th minute when David Ball's shot was saved by Stephen Bywater before Rovers responded when Nathan Tyson had a fierce effort tipped away by Chris Maxwell. Josh Morris hit a 20-yard snapshot just over the bar in the 39th minute, while Doncaster did most of the pressing after the interval with James Coppinger and Tyson going close. Tyson missed a good chance when he headed over the top in the 73rd minute and Maxwell did well to save from Harry Forrester in the closing stages as the game drifted to an inevitable conclusion.
