Join Helen, Max and co for two hours of fun and football

It's squeaky bum time up and down the country, but as ever Soccer AM has a line-up which will help calm those pre-match jitters! And taking a seat on the orange sofa first this week will be Everton legend Neville Southall! Born in Llandudno, Wales, 'Big Nev' took a slightly more unusual route to becoming a professional footballer, working as a bin-man before going on to win virtually every major honour in the game. Capped 92 times by his country, there is little doubt that Southall reached the heights of world class in a career which spanned over 30 years! A hero amongst the Goodison Park faithful, he made 578 appearances for the Toffees, winning two league titles, two FA Cups and the European Cup Winners Cup along the way. In 1985 he was named the Football Writers Award Footballer of the Year, while 10 years later he was of to Buckingham Palace to receive an MBE for services to football. A larger than life character, the 53-year-old rarely minces his words and we'll be reflecting on his brilliant career, and getting his take on the current Everton side.

BAFTA

Next down the tunnel will be BAFTA's newly crowned 'rising star', Adam Deacon! One of the stars of Noel Clarke projects Kidulthood and Adulthood, Deacon began his acting career as a 12-year-old with an appearance in Sacha Baron Cohen 's film Ali G Indahouse. TV appearances in Casualty and The Bill followed, however it was in Clarke's urban dramas that he really caught the eye. The 29-year-old has since gone on to star in a number of British films, including 4.3.2.1 and the comedy Anuvahood, which he co-wrote, co-directed and won the BAFTA Rising Star Award for. His latest film, Payback Season, features him as a Premier League footballer struggling to cope with his new found fame and fortune, and he'll be telling us all about that and any other upcoming projects.

Horrors

Completing another fantastic line-up of guests will be The Horrors frontman, Faris Badwan! Formed in 2005 in Southend-on-Sea, it didn't take The Horrors long to gather momentum, with their debut single "Sheena Is a Parasite" propelling them into the limelight. In 2007 the post punk rockers released their long-awaited debut record, Strange House, as their popularity continued to grow. Their follow up, Primary Colours, further enhanced their reputation, while last year's 'Skying' reached number five in the album charts - an all-time high for the band. A huge Blackburn Rovers fan, Badwan will be telling us what's next for The Horrors and will be getting his views on the goings ons at Ewood Park this season.
