Dance Contest brings the house down
Lucky Cannon shot himself back into contention on this week's episode of NXT Redemption, with an impressive victory over Byron Saxton.
The rookie has returned from Season 3 of NXT with an all-new heel persona, and having aligned himself with Tyson Kidd, is now beginning to create waves in this competition.
He took on Saxton in the main event of the show and a Kidd distraction allowed him to land a big boot to his opponent.
Saxton however responded with a flying clothesline from the top rope, but Cannon soon turned the tide and drove him shoulder first into the ring post.
A Samoan Driver that Cannon has christened 'Lucky Break' led to the pinfall and the victory.
Yoshii Tatsu, Saxton's Pro also suffered the same fate when he went to check on his rookie in the ring, and Cannon ended the show slowly retreating up the ramp with Kidd congratulating him on his night's work.
Titus O'Neill handed Darren Young his first defeat of the competition in singles action.

He landed his 'Sky High' Sit-out Spinebuster for the win, increasing his record to 2-0 while leaving Young with a 2-1 win loss record.
In the other 'match' of the night, Vladimir Kozlov and Conor O'Brian were due to face JTG and Jacob Novak, only for Matt Striker to announce the match was to become a dance contest in true WWE House Show fashion.
Kozlov and O'Brian tore the house down with a perfectly synchronized routine to give them the victory.
The other pair however did not fare so well, being roundly booed by the WWE Universe and ended with Striker referring to them as 'Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus'.
Darren Young did, despite his defeat pick up 4 redemption points by winning the Diss the rookie challenge.
This gives him 7 points, in a clear lead over O'Neill in second with 5.
