John Wall finishes with 30 points and eight assists as the Washington Wizards come from 24 points down to break the LA Clippers five-game winning streak

John Wall scored 30 points as the Washington Wizards overcame a 24-point deficit to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 125-118.

Wall racked up his points on 9-of-24 shooting - including 5-of-7 from beyond the three-point arc - as the Wizards rallied to end the Clippers' five-game winning streak.

The franchise point guard started the game in strong fashion, draining a pull-up three to give Washington an early lead but things were looking bleak for his team in third quarter after the Clippers amassed a 77-56 lead.

Two Wall three-pointers kickstarted Wizards' fightback and, thanks to additional scoring from Bradley Beal, reduced the deficit to seven points with 10 minutes remaining in the game.

Then Wall took over, pocketing an easy fast-break deuce following a steal, draining another three-ball from the top of the key and driving to the basket to give Washington a 115-113 lead. He then iced the game in the final minute with an explosive drive to the rim and soft left-hand finish.
