Rob Jones, who has previously ridden 5,200 miles across America, will begin his ambitious feat on Thursday in London before a planned finish in Washington, DC on Veterans Day, November 11.

"I am just going to get up in the morning and just start running. I am going to remember the reason that I started running and support my brother veterans," Jones told Sky Sports News.

"Doing that is a lot more important than being bored or uncomfortable wherever I am going to be. That is what is going to keep me going."
