Worcester have announced the signing of Wasps winger Tom Howe.

The 21-year-old will join the Warriors for next season, having made 13 appearances for Wasps. He previously had loan spells at Jersey Reds and Coventry.

Warriors director of rugby Gary Gold said: "Tom is a hungry, young player who will add further depth to our options in the back three.

"He has shone for Wasps when presented with the opportunity and hopefully he can use the resources around him at Sixways to flourish as a player."

Howe was part of the England U20 squad which won the Junior World Championship title last year.

His performance against Warriors in November led to him being shortlisted for the Anglo-Welsh Cup Breakthrough Award along with Worcester's Josh Adams.

"I'd like to thank Wasps for the opportunities they have given me during my time in the academy but I'm now looking forward to a new chapter," said Howe,

"Worcester is clearly a place where young players are given the support they need to be able to make steps in the right direction as a rugby player.

"From outside, you see the likes of Jamie Shillcock, Josh Adams and others getting chances in the Premiership and excelling, and it's something that has appealed to me."
