Sale and England winger Denny Solomona will face an RFU disciplinary panel over allegations of a homophobic slur.

Solomona will appear before a three-person RFU panel in Stockport on Thursday, April 5, after being charged with "conduct prejudicial to the interests of the Union or the game".

The 24-year-old, who has won two England caps, was accused during the second half of Sale's 58-25 win over the Worcester Warriors in the Aviva Premiership last Saturday.

Worcester fly-half Jamie Shillcock reported Solomona to referee Andrew Jackson moments after he was involved in a touchline scuffle with the former rugby league player.

Jackson said he had not heard the comments and both players were substituted not long after the clash.
