Nico Le Roux has parted company with the Bulls just a month after he was named backline coach.
Le Roux was chosen to succeed Todd Louden with the Super 14 side but the short marriage has not been a happy one.
"In a joint statement by the Blue Bulls Company Ltd and the backline coach of the Vodacom Bulls, Nico le Roux, an agreement has been reached to cancel the contract between them," a spokesman said.
"They parted amicably after le Roux and the Blue Bulls Company Ltd agreed that the timing of his appointment and the expectancies of both parties could not be realised.
"Thus both parties decided that his contract should be cancelled sooner rather than later. The Blue Bulls Company Ltd will start immediately to identify a replacement for Le Roux."
