Swindon have swooped to sign talented Danish youngster Mikkel B Andersen.

Andersen was on the radar of rival SGB Premiership clubs after alerting them to his availability following his apprenticeship in his home country.

Robins boss Alun Rossiter said: "Both Hans Nielsen and our former skipper Hans Andersen speak highly of him.

"We're pleased to welcome him to Swindon, he's another fresh face to the side who I expect to improve as the season goes on. We get him as a club asset, too, so I'm pleased to have him on board for a number of reasons."

Meanwhile, Peterborough have snapped up hot property Jack Holder - and told him 2017 is his time to shine.
