"It's going to be a great, great experience. Hopefully an even better one than most people think," said Evans.

Evans will have to wait for his match as he is third on Centre Court, with Juan Martin del Potro starting the day against fourth seed Stan Wawrinka.

Del Potro is appearing at Wimbledon for the first time since he reached the semi-finals in 2013, with wrist injuries hampering several comeback attempts.

The pair are good friends off the court and Kyrgios says Brown, who shocked Rafael Nadal last year, is "awesome to watch."

Two-time champion Petra Kvitova takes on Ekaterina Makarova in a second-round clash while the last remaining British woman in the draw, Tara Moore, faces 13th seed Svetlana Kuznetsova second on Court Three.

Fourth seed Angelique Kerber is up against fellow German Carina Witthoeft while Simona Halep, Kei Nishikori, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Marin Cilic are also in action.
