Former World Heavyweight Champion Frank Bruno is backing Anthony Joshua to comfortably beat Carlos Takam on Saturday

Anthony Joshua will "walk through" Carlos Takam in their heavyweight title fight on Saturday night, says Frank Bruno.

The IBF and WBA 'super' heavyweight champion defends his title against Takam in Cardiff, live on Sky Sports Box Office, and Bruno is expecting the 28-year-old to have little problem in dispatching the Cameroon-born Frenchman.

Bruno told Sky Sports: "After the Klitschko fight, I don't think he (Joshua) wants to go in there to mess around.

"And the guy (Takam) ain't going to go back, he is going to come forward, and AJ will probably go forward as well.

"It is who wants it more and I can see AJ walking through him. I can't see him giving AJ much problems, if AJ is up for it.

"It should be a good fight while it lasts."

Bruno believes former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who is currently awaiting the resumption of a UK Anti-Doping hearing, and a unification clash with WBC champion Deontay Wilder would be tougher tests for Joshua.

He said: "Tyson Fury would give him a run for his money. He's got a lot of bottle, he's not afraid.

"Deontay Wilder is not as polished as Joshua who works on his movements. Wilder is a wildcat, but he's a wildcat that can punch.

"But my money is on AJ - he's on his game and is very, very determined, very focused, very fit, and wants to get better all the time.

"He will mature, and has more to achieve and is on his game all the time."

Frank was speaking following the release of his new book, 'Let me be Frank'.
