Luke Campbell and Tommy Coyle will both face former British champions as they warm-up for their summer showdown.
The Hull duo are expected to face each other later in the year, but first must overcome tough opposition, with Campbell pitted against Gary Sykes, while Coyle faces Martin Gethin.
This lightweight double-header will be staged in front of their hometown fans at Hull Ice Arena on March 7, live on Sky Sports.
Sykes should provide the sternest test of Campbell’s career as the Huddersfield boxer is a two-time British champion, who has triumphed in a number of gruelling battles.
The 30-year-old recently lost his Lonsdale belt after a decision loss to Liam Walsh, but has beaten Anthony Crolla and holds a Prizefighter victory over Coyle.
Gethin briefly held the British belt and has fought in a world title eliminator, suffering a stoppage loss to Ammeth Diaz.
The local rivals served up two explosive victories when they last fought in October, with Coyle producing a stunning knockout of Michael Katsidis and Campbell halted the dangerous Daniel Brizuela.
These are great fights for Luke and Tommy to lay down a marker ahead of their explosive clash in the summer.
“These are great fights for Luke and Tommy to lay down a marker ahead of their explosive clash in the summer,” said promoter Eddie Hearn.
“Both guys will be out to impress in front of the home fans and indeed each other, but Gary and Martin will be aiming to scupper their plans and add famous scalps to their already impressive CVs.
“There will be plenty of tension in the air with Luke and Tommy knowing they must come through their fights in style to set up the showdown that their hometown fans crave.”
On a busy bill, Sam Eggington will face unbeaten welterweight rival Shayne Singleton, while highly-rated super-middleweight Rocky Fielding returns after hand surgery.
