Kell Brook is to make the first defence of his IBF world welterweight title on March 28.
The 28-year-old will do battle in his home city of Sheffield having won the title last August in a majority points decision against American Shawn Porter in California.
His opponent for the Motorpoint Arena title fight is set to be named this Thursday.
Brook, who has won all 33 of his professional fights – 22 via a knock-out – was originally expecting to make his maiden defence in December.
However, he was the victim of a knife attack in Tenerife last September when he was stabbed in his leg and hospitalised for a number of days following surgery.
His manager Eddie Hearn said recently: "Last year was a year of incredible highs and lows and the bravery he has shown to come back from that life-threatening injury has been quite remarkable.
"People doubted Kell before he ripped the world title from Porter in America. The fact is that Kell is a special fighter and I believe he will go on to unify the 147lbs division.”
