Liverpool heavyweight David Price will face Irineu Beato Costa Junior on February 21 at the O2 World in Berlin, Germany.

The pair will go toe-to-toe on the undercard of the WBO super-middleweight title rematch between Arthur Abraham and Paul Smith.

Price, 31, will be returning to action following a six-month injury lay-off and is looking forward to the 10-round contest against the 34-year-old Brazilian.

“I can’t wait to get back in the ring and remind everybody what I’m all about,” said the former British and Commonwealth champion, who has won 18 of his 20 fights.

“Costa Junior is exactly the type of opponent I wanted. He’s got a decent record, similar to my own, with 16 wins and only two defeats.
