Demetrius Andrade will target WBA super-welterweight world champion Erislandy Lara next as he begins his campaign to unify the division.
'Boo Boo' (23-0-KO16) returned to action on June 11 by breaking down Willie Nelson to record a final-round knockout and with the unbeaten American determined to prove he's the best at 154lbs, talks have begun over taking on Lara (23-2-2-KO13).
Andrade's promoter Artie Pellulo told ESPN.com: "I'm going to ask Stephen (Espinoza) if he is interested in doing a fight between Demetrius and Lara.
"Lara and him would be a great fight and the winner could then fight the winner of (Jermell) Charlo and (Charles) Hatley in a unification fight, which would be even bigger than just Demetrius fighting Charlo for his title.
"Demetrius wants a title fight next and I want to get it for him. Now I have to see if it's something we can do."
