Cobras were punished for bowling no balls as they lost to Lions by seven wickets in Friday's Sky Live Ram Slam T20 Challenge clash.
Watch the highlights at the top of the screen to see how Lions chalked up their first win of the campaign, thanks chiefly to Mangaliso Mosehle's 55 and an unbeaten 30 from Omphile Ramela.
Cobras had both batsmen caught off no balls - Mosehle given a reprieve on 10 and Ramela surviving on 20 as Mthiwekhaya Nabe and the experienced Vernon Philander overstepped respectively.
Ramela, who was also dropped on two and 28, watched from the other end as Dwaine Pretorious smeared Wayne Parnell for the match-winning six to move Lions past Cobras' 169-6 with seven balls remaining.
Cobras skipper JP Duminy (55) earlier scored his 34th fifty in T20 cricket and Hashim Amla (36), Parnell (33) and Temba Bavuma (28) also contributed after Kagiso Rabada (2-19) bowled Richard Levi (0) third ball.
Levi's day got worse when he spilled Ramela at slip as Cobras were condemned to their second defeat in as many games following their loss to Dolphins at Port Elizabeth on Sunday.
The Ram Slam T20 Challenge action continues on Sunday when Cobras play Titans (12.25pm, Sky Sports Cricket).
