IPL fans at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium have now witnessed THREE staggering one-handed catches this season!
First we had Trent Boult's unbelievable grab to remove Virat Kohli in the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils earlier in the competition, which you can watch below.
Then, on Thursday, we had Rashid Khan and AB de Villiers producing magnificent takes to dismiss Colin de Grandhomme and England's Alex Hales respectively in the clash between RCB and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Sunrisers spinner Rashid initially misjudged the flight of the ball as De Grandhomme launched towards him at deep midwicket but reacted late to pull off a superb catch with his right hand.
An airborne De Villiers outdid the Afghanistan spinner with his catch, though - the South African unfurling what RCB skipper Kohli later called "Spiderman stuff" to pluck the ball inches from the deep midwicket fence.
"That was Spiderman stuff, you don't do that as normal human beings," said Kohli after RCB's 14-run victory. "I thought it was going for a six and then he pulls it out. He can do freakish things, I'm used to it now."
"I made it look better than it was," added De Villiers. "I got in a bad position. The ball had a little bit of curve on it. The minute I took the jump, I realised it was a little bit outside of my body. Luckily it stuck."
