Essex have announced all-rounders Ashar Zaidi and Callum Taylor are set to depart the club.
Zaidi joined Essex ahead of the 2016 season and played a role in their promotion to Division One of the County Championship that year, as well as their title triumph 12 months later.
The 37-year-old has also been a useful spin option and lower-order batsman in the limited-overs formats but will leave the club at the end of his contract.
I Raise this bat one last time as @EssexCricket player. Head coach Anthony McGrath said: "Ashar has been an important part of the squad during his time with us with both bat and ball, especially in white-ball cricket.
"His ability to strike the ball long and hard was always special to watch and excited the crowd at Chelmsford on a number of occasions."
Taylor, who made his first-class debut in 2015, was a regular for the second XIs this year but he too will leave Chelmsford.
McGrath added: "Callum has been a pleasure to coach and has been an important squad player for Essex over the past few years. We'd like to thank him for his hard work and attitude and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours."
