England fast bowler Olly Stone has signed a new contract to keep him with Warwickshire until the end of the 2022 season.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a productive 2018, taking 72 wickets in 29 appearances in all formats, and his fine form in county cricket earned him a call up to the England Test and ODI squads for the tour of Sri Lanka.
Stone made his ODI debut on that tour and, having signed a new deal with Warwickshire, will join up with the Test squad again for the series in the Windies.
"I'm delighted to have signed a new deal," Stone told Warwickshire's official website. "I love the club, it has so much history and I'm really excited about the future.
"The lads are great, I've settled in here really well and I can't wait for the upcoming season where hopefully we can continue our excellent performance from last year."
The seamer moved to the Edgbaston county from Northamptonshire in 2016 but a major knee injury forced him to wait more than a year to make his debut and it was only last summer that he was able to show his best form.
Stone took 43 wickets in the just seven County Championship matches as Warwickshire were promoted to the top flight and took career-best figures of 8-80 against Sussex in the first game of the season.
"Having arrived at Edgbaston with a career threatening injury, Olly has shown courage, determination and skill to get himself back to full fitness and show what a valuable player he is to Warwickshire and Birmingham Bears," first-team coach Jim Troughton said.
"His selection for England is truly deserved and we're very glad he has committed his future to the Bears."
