India cricketer Ambati Rayudu has been suspended from bowling by the International Cricket Council for a suspect action.
Rayudu, who is primarily a batsman but bowls part-time, was reported after India's one-day international defeat to Australia on 12 January.
In a statement, the ICC said that Rayudu "didn't elect to submit a test of his bowling action within the stipulated 14 days of being reported for suspect action."
The off-spinner will remain suspended until his bowling action is tested and "can demonstrate he is able to bowl with a legal action," the ICC added.
The 33-year-old bowled two overs in the match against Australia in Sydney, failing to pick up a wicket as India lost the match by 34 runs.
According to the regulation, Rayudu may be allowed to bowl in domestic cricket events with the consent of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
