The 2019 World Cup may not feature Windies, with the Caribbean side's fall down the ODI rankings forcing them into the qualification tournament in Zimbabwe.
Jason Holder's men started the World Cup Qualifier positively enough - centuries for Chris Gayle and Shimron Hetmyer seeing them defeat a spirited UAE by 60 runs in Harare on Tuesday.
Windies will now be aiming to finish in the top two in the competition and seal a spot at the World Cup proper, an event they won, of course, in England in 1975 and 1979.
