Find out everything you could ever want to know about the Malaysia GP as the Formula 1 moves north to arguably the best of the Hermann Tilke-designed tracks - The Sepang International Circuit.

Since joining the F1 calendar in 1999, this race has thrown up a number of classics - particularly since it adopted a late-afternoon timeslot, meaning heavy rain is always a possibility given the country’s tropical climate.

The 2015 Malaysia GP in a nutshell

Track: Sepang International Circuit. Permanent circuit.

Race start time: 8am UK time Sunday (3pm local).

Laps: 56.

Track length: 5.543 km.

Tyre allocation: Hard (orange) and Medium (white).

DRS Zones: Two with separate detection points (Pit Straight and between Turns 14 and 15).

Driver steward: Mike Doohan.

Lap record: Juan Pablo Montoya - 1:34.223 (BMW Williams; 2004).

Lewis Hamilton opened his Malaysian account with victory last year, but it is Sebastian Vettel and Fernando who are the most successful of the current drivers at Sepang with three victories each. Michael Schumacher has also won the race three times.
