Accrington continue to be without striker Offrande Zanzala as he serves the second match of a three-game ban for the visit of Bristol Rovers.
Midfielder Scott Brown also serves a one-match suspension. On-loan goalkeeper Connor Ripley was recalled by Middlesbrough - the sixth loan player to leave the club this month - to sign permanently for Preston so Jonathan Maxted is set to regain his place.
Right-back Callum Johnson, who is attracting interest from Preston, is a doubt for with a groin injury.
