Imps could climb above Stanley with a win

Both sides need the points as they continue to struggle at the wrong end of the League Two table. Accrington's woes have largely been caused by their deficiencies at home. They have lost nine times at the Crown Ground this season, conceding 25 goals in 14 games in front of their supporters. They are also on a run of just one win in their last seven league games. While Stanley struggle at home, Lincoln have been poor on the road. They have lost nine times on their travels, but have eased their relegation fears of late following five wins in their last seven games.

Keeping faith

Accrington boss John Coleman is expected to stick with the same side which beat Chester 3-2 on Saturday. David Mannix made his second debut for Stanley during that game and he looks set to retain his place in midfield. Striker Leighton McGivern is struggling with an ankle injury but should recover in time to ease Stanley's shortages up front. Goalkeeper Kenny Arthur came through a recent reserve game unscathed but is likely to continue his rehabilitation from a broken leg on the bench.
No changes
Lincoln manager Peter Jackson is also expected to stick with the same squad which has served him so well of late. Lenell John-Lewis has resumed full training and could return to the side after missing the last two matches with a shoulder injury. Defender Gary Croft is still sidelined due to a calf strain, while midfielder Ryan Amoo is expected to be out for up to six weeks after damaging medial knee ligaments. Midfielder Lee Frecklington managed the full 90 minutes against Rochdale on Saturday and should have done enough to keep his place in the starting XI.
