Arsenal host Fenerbahce at Emirates Stadium in the UEFA Champions League looking to bounce back from their recent domestic disappointment. The Gunners slumped to their third Premier League loss of the season last weekend as Stoke City claimed a deserved 2-1 triumph at the Britannia Stadium. Wednesday evening's clash against Fener is the beginning of a testing run of fixtures for Arsenal in November, with Manchester United to follow the European encounter. Victory for Arsenal versus their Turkish opponents combined with a success for Dynamo Kiev over Porto would ensure their qualification to the last 16 of the competition. Fenerbahce, meanwhile, will be aware that defeat in North London and a win for Dynamo will see them eliminated with two matches to play.

      Mistakes

Luis Aragones' side are struggling in ninth in the Turkish Super Lig while the Spanish coach will be eager for his troops to improve defensively after the Gunners ran out 5-2 winners on matchday 3 last month. He said on Uefa's official website: "We have our strengths and we have to show them. We made some mistakes in the first game but every game is different in the Champions League and we go out to win every game - tomorrow that will be our aim." Wenger is without forwards Theo Walcott (shoulder) and Emmanuel Adebayor (ankle) for the fixture after the duo sustained injuries at Stoke, while captain William Gallas (hamstring) remains sidelined. Bacary Sagna is available but Emmanuel Eboue (knee) is still missing along with long-term absentees Eduardo (ankle) and Tomas Rosicky (hamstring). Aragones will have to make do without skipper Alex, who is struggling with a thigh strain, but playmaker Deivid is at his disposal.
