Arsenal were full value for their comfortable success, with Cazorla, Ramsey and Giroud all on target. Stay with us for a full match report, player ratings and the best post-match reaction.

Silva and Sinclair combine to earn a corner for City. Boyata gets up highest in the box but glances his header narrowly wide of goal with Szczesny stranded.
City send on Sinclair for Navas, while Ramsey leaves the field to warm applause with Campbell taking his place. Gibbs looks OK to continue.

Jovetic gets his shot away at the second attempt from Navas' next cross, but Chambers is well placed to block.
Chambers concedes a corner, which Navas will take. It's another poor one, and fails to beat the first man.
Good alertness from Szczesny as he races from his line to gather a high ball which was aimed into the box towards Jovetic, who applauds the attempted pass.
Crunching challenge from Debuchy on Kolarov which sends the City man cartwheeling into the air, but referee Oliver waves play on.
Fernando drives in shot from the edge of the box after Navas' cross is headed away, but it deflects behind for a corner, which is straight into Szczesny's gloves.
And another change for Arsenal. Rosicky is the latest to come on, with goalscorer Cazorla making way.
Now Szczesny is down and in need of some treatment after clashing with Zuculini as they challenged for the ball in the area.
Jovetic goes for the spectacular with an overhead kick near the penalty spot from Clichy's cross, but fires way off target.
Poor from Debuchy as he plays a blind back-pass and only finds Jovetic, but fortunately Chambers is alert to the danger and gets back to challenge.
City had looked the better side in the early stages of this second half, but they now find themselves 3-0 down following Giroud's outstanding strike. It's tough to see how the Premier League champions can get back into this game.
It would be fair to say that is not the impact Pellegrini would have been hoping for after his double substitution.
Great strike from Giroud to put Arsenal 3-0 up! The France international held off substitute Zuculini some 25 yards out before unleashing a dipping strike which goes over the head of the stranded Caballero.
Giroud attempts to find Oxlade-Chamberlain, but Kolarov is there to intercept, before clashing with Ramsey and leaving the Arsenal man on the deck.
GOOD SAVE!!! Much better from Szczesny as he parries a powerful shot from Jovetic from the edge of the area.
CHANCE FOR CITY!! Navas is released down the right and his high hanging cross is met by the head of Jovetic at the far post. Szczesny makes a meal of the save, flapping at the ball as he keeps it out, but fortunately for him the City striker blazes the follow-up over the top.
Nice play from Ramsey to find Cazorla, whose shot is blocked by Fernando. Arsenal's penalty appeals are waved away.
David Silva is inches away from feeding Jovetic and then gets on the ball again to find Toure, but Arsenal's defence stands firm. The Gunners have something very different to deal with now.
Tremendous flicked pass from David Silva to release Kolarov, but the defender fails to pick out any of his team-mates after advancing towards the box.
Now Toure is down and in some pain after kicking the bottom of Giroud's foot. He gets gingerly to his feet and play continues.

Three changes for Arsenal as Giroud, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Monreal are sent into the fray, in place of Sanogo, Alexis and Koscielny.
Arsenal have made much more of their possession of the ball and deservedly lead at the break, thanks to two lovely goals from Cazorla and Ramsey. City have had a couple of half-chances, but Szczesny is yet to have been called into serious action.
GREAT CHALLENGE!! Alexis plays a one-two with Sanogo and is charging through on goal, but the City keeper is off his line to slide in just outside his box. Close to 3-0....
Corner for City as they look to get back into the game, but Nasri's kick is headed clear by Gibbs at the near post.
Great, great goal from Ramsey. A long pass forward finds Sanogo, who holds the ball up and then feeds his team-mate. Ramsey's first touch is sublime, dinking the ball away from Nastasic and sending the City defender the wrong way before he drives it beyond Caballero with his next.
City head straight up the other end of the field with a powerful, driving run from Dzeko taking him beyond Chambers and Debuchy and to the touchline, but his cut-back cannot find Jovetic.
Ramsey gets a lucky bounce out on the edge of the City box, but he cannot pick out Wishere, and Toure clears.
Swift counter from City almost brings them a goal. Jovetic carries the ball forward and then feeds the over-lapping Kolarov, whose low cut back drops to Nasri, but he gets his touch all wrong just six yards out and the chance is gone. Much to the glee of the Arsenal fans.
Alexis is clipped by Kolarov out on the Arsenal right - it has been a good contest between those two so far today.
Wilshere looks to get away down the left flank, but Toure sneaks in a foot and the ball is out for a throw.
Szczesny has to be alert to clear his lines with his feet after Chambers' backpass from the edge of the box following Jovetic's flick on had kept Jesus Navas interested.
Clichy has another chance to cross from the right, but again completely over-hits the ball and it drifts harmlessly out of play.
Cazorla is down and in some pain, after losing his boot as he landed in an aerial challenge with Clichy. He should be OK to continue, though.
Close to a second goal for Arsenal! The corner reaches Sanogo towards the back post, but he fails to get a clean contact on his header and Caballero gratefully gathers.
Good break from Arsenal, with Cazorla finding Sanchez, whose attempted pass to Sanogo is cut out. The ball breaks to Cazorla, whose effort is deflected wide for a corner.
Szczesny comes off his line to gather a high cross from Clichy from out on the right. It's one of the first touches of the afternoon for the Arsenal keeper.
Toure attempts an ambitious pass in beyond the Arsenal defence towards the on-rushing Jesus Navas, but there's just too much on the pass.
Chance for Arsenal to make it 2-0 as Cazorla plays in Sanogo, but he drags his shot across the face of goal and wide.
Wilshere and Sanogo were also involved in the build-up, with the England man cutting across the edge of the box before finding the striker, who lost the ball as Boyata slid in, only for it to break to Cazorla. Sanogo picked himself and was between Caballero and Cazorla as he shot, but the referee's assistant kept his flag down, even though he was well beyond the defence.
Lovely finish from Cazorla - a low drive from the edge of the box after turning away from Clichy which goes across Caballero before nestling in the bottom corner.
Lots of the ball for Arsenal today - as is so often the case - but they're yet to really work Caballero. Debuchy is flagged offside for straying too far forward on their latest attack.

Wilshere attempts to thread a pass through to Alexis, but Clichy is alert to the danger and clears again.
CHANCE FOR CITY!! The ball reaches Nasri near the penalty spot and he lashes in a powerful shot which Debuchy bravely blocks with his chest.
Cazorla's kick is aimed towards Koscielny in the centre, but the defender jumps under the ball and it is cleared by City.
Sanogo is played in through the middle and looks to get an early shot away, but Nastasic blocks the ball away for a corner.
More good link-up play down the right between Alexis and Debuchy, with the Chile international's low cross cut out before it can reach Wilshere, with Sanogo also lurking in the box.
Kolarov gets forward well and looks to come inside after linking with Nasri, but Debuchy wins the ball with an uncompromising challenge.
Good link-up play between Alexis and Debuchy, with the full-back's cross heading towards Sanogo, only for City to manage to clear their lines through Clichy. Arsenal have made much the better start here.
Alexis looks to burst through the Manchester City defence, but the blue all holds form and the ball goes out for a throw, with Sanogo then muscled off the ball by Nastasic.
Corner to City, with Samir Nasri trotting over to take it in front of the Arsenal fans, who respond in predictable fashion. The kick comes to nothing and Arsenal are back on the ball.
Enterprising run from Clichy as he brings the ball out of defence before being felled by Aaron Ramsey.
Nice play from Sanogo finds Alexis, he then threads it into Wilshere's feet, but the England man cannot bring the ball under his spell on the edge of the area.
Fernando catches Jack Wilshere in the centre circle and Arsenal have a free-kick, which comes to nothing.
Long ball forward out of defence from Boyata, but he over-hits it and Arsenal are now in possession.
If we do go to penalties today, it will be interesting to see if Micah Richards - who is currently on the bench - gets to take one after his now-infamous effort during City's pre-season tour in the USA. Not sure that one has landed yet.
Thankfully, the pouring rain has abated and the sun has come out for the pre-match line-ups and handshakes with the various dignitaries.
A price of 2/1 for an Arsenal victory has attracted much interest from the Sky Bet punters, with Manchester City's price of 13/10 not as attractive. Alexis Sanchez is the most popular first goal scorer, with a Price Boost of 5/1 for the Chilean to score first, and Arsenal to win enhanced.
Three pieces of silverware head out onto the field - Manchester City's Premier League trophy, Arsenal's FA Cup and the Community Shield, for the winners today. If the scores are level after 90 minutes, then it's straight to penalties.
Plenty of friendly chat between Santi Cazorla and Willy Caballero in the tunnel as Michael Oliver prepares to lead everyone out.
The two teams are in the tunnel and ready to make their way out onto the Wembley surface for the pre-match formalities.
Mehmet Birinci writes: "I really do see Arsenal turning things around this season, and this is a chance to show our changes against the top 4! Alexis with a goal and Arsenal to win 3-1! COYG!"
Chris Green, getting in touch from a rain-drenched Huddersfield, says: "Arsenal to win 2-0, with Ramsey and Alexis scoring the goals."
Manuel Pellegrini (I don't think it's really him, especially as the Twitter handle is @Pellegriniout14) says: "Arsenal have bought some world class players, City haven't improved at the back. Prediction: 2-2."
Richard Franklin writes: "Going to be a test for both sides today. I fancy Arsenal to edge this out as a win. There's a lot of potential in their squad this season. Although you can never rule Man City out as everyone saw last season."
