Barnsley could be without top goalscorer Kieffer Moore for their Sky Bet League One fixture against Luton this weekend.
The striker has scored seven goals this season but came off in the first half of the Tykes' 4-0 win at Peterborough last weekend with ankle ligament damage and is a major doubt for the visit of the Hatters.
Goalkeeper Adam Davies and midfielder Kenny Dougall will definitely be absent due to international commitments with Wales and Australia respectively. Daniel Pinillos (knee) faces a late fitness test while fellow full-back Zeki Fryers and midfielder Lloyd Isgrove will not feature due to a knee injury and muscle strain respectively.
Striker Elliot Lee and defender Dan Potts could retain their starting places despite limping out of Luton's 3-2 win against Scunthorpe last weekend. Lee scored his fourth goal of the season before going off with a hamstring problem while left-back Potts later had a groin complaint, but Luton are hopeful neither issue is serious.
Danny Hylton is pushing for a return to the squad, having resumed training in the last couple of weeks following his recovery from a hamstring injury that has sidelined him since August. Midfielder Luke Berry and defender Lloyd Jones remain sidelined.
Opta stats
Although this will be the first league meeting between Barnsley and Luton since the 2006-07 Championship season, Barnsley are without a win in their last four home league matches against the Hatters (D1 L3), after having won 11 of the previous 12 prior to this (D1).
Just one of the last 15 matches between Barnsley and Luton in all competitions has been drawn (0-0 in March 2004), with Barnsley winning nine to Luton's five in this time.
Barnsley have lost just once in their first eleven league games this season (W6 D4), collecting 22 points, their best start to a league season since 1978/79 in the fourth tier (W7 D3 L1).
Luton secured their first away win of the season last time out against Oxford (2-1); they had managed just one win in their previous 13 away league games prior to that victory.
Barnsley's Kieffer Moore has just one goal in his last five league appearances, after scoring six goals in his previous three.
Prutton's prediction
Barnsley are as good as anyone in Sky Bet League One at their very best. The only issue has been hitting those heights consistently this season, and they haven't won back-to-back since their first two games in August.
Luton haven't played at this level for a decade but you wouldn't know it from the way they have adjusted back to the third tier. There should be goals in this one but I can't split the two. Score draw.
David Prutton predicts: 2-2 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
