Bayern may have been missing leading scorer Luca Toni through suspension, but they continued to test Malafeev in the opening moments of the first half, with Schweinsteiger twice denied by the goalkeeper.
But Dick Advocaat's men stunned the Allianz Arena crowd by levelling in the 62nd minute thanks to an own goal from Bayern defender Lucio.

Lucio was clearly keen to make amends for his error, but was denied by Malafeev in the closing stages after Ze Roberto's corner, with Bayern forced to settle for a draw despite a frantic finish to the match with chances at both ends.
